Indy Laborfest

It wouldn’t be a Labor Day in Indy without Indy Laborfest! As always, things will start happening at 11am and run all the way until 6pm on Georgia Street downtown. With live music and plenty of activities for adults and kids alike, it’s sure to be a blast.

NHRA Nationals

Once again, the NHRA Nationals will be held on Lucas Oil Raceway on the west side of Indianapolis. The event will be ongoing all weekend from Wednesday, August 30 all the way until Monday, September 4. It can be fun for the whole weekend.

Music in Indy Labor Day weekend

If you are looking to listen to some great live music this Labor Day weekend, then we have three great options for you all in the Indy area.

Bob Seger

When: 9/2, 7:30 pm
Where: Klipsch Music Center, Noblesville

Bob Seger is a class act, and with The Silver Bullet Band in tow, you will be able to listen to all your favorite Seger tunes. Tickets are already running low, but you can still find tickets on the lawn for as low as $38. Act fast, before the only available tickets are expensive.

Blues Fest Weekend

When: 9/1 – 9/2, 7:30 pm
Where: Klipsch Music Center, Fishers

For the 5th year in a row, the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater right outside of Indianapolis is hosting a Blues Fest Weekend. It’s completely free to attend and patrons are welcome and encouraged to bring their own food, drinks, and even alcohol into the venue.

John Mayer

When: 9/3, 7 pm
Where: Klipsch Music Center, Noblesville

If you have a chance, you should catch John Mayer in concert at the Klipsch Music Center right outside Indianapolis in Noblesville. As of this writing, there are still plenty of tickets. They start at $26 for seats on the Harrison College Lawn, and go up from there.
