Honda leads the Rose Parade 2018 with the “Power of Dreams Express”
On January 1, 2018, the 2018 Honda Clarity Plug-in Hybrid will set the pace as Honda leads the Rose Parade 2018 with the “Power of Dream Express.” This is to kick off the New Year and is a central piece of the Tournament of Roses® that happens in Pasadena, CA.
This will be the 57th year that Honda has worked with the Tournament of Roses® and Honda will have their float present this year’s theme as the first one in the parade. The parade’s theme this year is “Making a Difference,” so Honda is working with philanthropic partner organizations to create the “Power of Dreams Express.” We are extremely excited to see how it turns out and can’t wait to watch this year’s parade and the Rose Bowl.
Honda’s “Power of Dreams Express” is a whimsical representation of their commitment to provide good in the community. The float is 110-feet long and 21-feet high and has been designed with vibrant colors. And to stay environmentally friendly, the float will be powered by a specially engineered low-emission, hybrid powertrain. And that’s not all, the new 2018 Honda Clarity Plug-in Hybrid will be the pace and sound car for the parade!
