All three Honda Civic body styles also have a performance trim associated with it, this may lead some to wonder whether or not they have Honda Sensing. The Civic Si Coupe, Civic Si Sedan, and Civic Type R do not have Honda Sensing available.

This omission was done on purpose to preserve the purity of these performance-focused models. These cars are designed to appeal to an enthusiast audience, and most people in that audience desire a more direct connection to the road. As wonderful as Honda Sensing is, it could get in the way of that. However, Honda LaneWatch is included standard on both the Civic Si Coupe and the Civic Si Sedan.
