2018 Honda Ridgeline release date
The 2017 Ridgeline was an exciting addition to the Honda model lineup, and the truck is unsurprisingly returning again for the 2018 model year. Find out about the 2018 Honda Ridgeline release date along with features and trim details right here.
Trim level changes for the 2018 Ridgeline
When the Ridgeline re-entered the market with the 2017 model year, it had a total of 12 trim levels. The RT, RTS, Sport, RTL, RTL-T, each had all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive options making up the first 10 trims and the all-wheel drive only RTL-E and Black Edition made up the top two trims. To accomplish the reduction, for 2018 the RT trim is now front-wheel drive only and the RTS trim has been dropped from the lineup entirely.
New colors for the Sport trim
The popular Sport trim, which was only available in Crystal Black Pearl for 2017, will now have two new color options for the new model year. White Diamond Pearl and Lunar Silver Metallic will be added to the Sport’s color lineup.
2018 Ridgeline engine specifications
The engine for the 2018 Ridgeline will not be changing from the previous model year. This means you still get the impressive V-6 engine that is capable of delivering 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. This engine also comes mated to a standard 6-speed automatic transmission.
